BBC World Service will offer special holiday programming on December 25 and 29:

Monday, December 25: Newshour Quiz 

The second half of all four editions of Newshour on Monday, December 25 will feature a live news quiz, presented by James Coomarasamy.

He tests two teams of Newshour presenters on their knowledge of the events and people making news during 2017. Razia Iqbal and Tim Franks take on James Menendez and Rebecca Kesby – in a fight for news, current affairs and trivia glory.

  • It will not follow the Newshour clock; all posts will be dropped between xx:32:30 to xx: 58:59.
  • The file will be posted to ContentDepot on Friday, December 22, and will be embargoed until Monday, December 25.
  • Available for broadcast through Sunday, December 31
