Starting on Monday, October 13th, the BBC World Service introduces additional editions of the program New About Ebola. In the program, Kim Chakanetsa brings the latest information about local, regional and international efforts to contain and combat the Ebola virus.

The five-minute 30 second segment will air as part of the stream at 10:23:30 ET and will be in place until October 24th when the BBC switches to the interim schedule. Programming plans after October 24th will follow once confirmed.

The following schedule changes will be made to accommodate:

The Mon-Thu Business Daily will only be available in a 17 minutes 30 seconds duration

The Friday Tech Tent will be 17 minutes 30 seconds duration (not 23 mins)
