APM Reports has a new, exclusive opportunity for stations – a radio package based on its popular investigative podcast, In the Dark, and the on-air and digital assets to promote it.
In the Dark examines how law enforcement handled the kidnapping of Jacob Wetterling – a case that went unsolved for nearly 27 years, but had sweeping national consequences. From the creation of the federal sex offender registry, to the devastating effects of a man wrongly labeled a “person of interest,” the series will enlighten listeners nationwide about how crimes are – or are not – solved in their communities.
Available today through next February, this exclusive package consists of five, hour-long radio programs. Each features one episode of the podcast, followed by a discussion with APM Reports’ investigative reporter Madeleine Baran and APM Reports’ producer Samara Freemark, hosted by Marketplace Weekend’s Lizzie O’Leary.
November 14 through February 28, with multiple airings permitted. Stations must air all five programs.
In the Dark is available exclusively to APM stations on ContentDepot and PRX. Additional details are on our website.
