  • Kai talks to Mary O’Hara about her new book The Shame Game: Overturning the toxic poverty narrative.
  • Women report higher levels of stress at work according to the American Psychological Association. They still do about three times the amount of unpaid household work as men do, they earn on average just 80 cents for every dollar earned by a man, and they’re dealing with something called “Emotional Labor” – all the effort that goes into managing their own emotions and those of their co-workers. Marketplace’s Meghan McCarty Carino reports on the latest battle ground in this struggle for women at work – their keyboards.
