The new British PM Teresa May will be making a speech at Downing Street later today. Right now BBC World Service anticipates broadcasting the speech during The Newsroom at 1:00pm (1300) ET.

If Teresa May begins speaking DURING The Newsroom and is STILL speaking at half past the hour, then The Newsroom will NOT follow the usual program clock at the bottom of the hour. Breaks will be lifted from 13:29:00 – 13:32:30. The Newsroom will run on until her speech is finished, then World Business Report will start.
