Monday, September 19
4:30 – 5:30 p.m.: Join APM’s Jonathan Blakley and other moderators at the Podcast Meetup

Tuesday, September 20
7:30 – 8:15 a.m.: Performance Today breakfast (APM Suite 324) with Fred Child. Join us for light breakfast and a toast to 30 years of Performance Today.

2:15 – 3:15 p.m.: General Session: “The BBC’s Insight on Millennials” with Mary Hockaday, Controller of BBC World Service English

3:30 – 4:30 p.m.: Breakout Session: “It’s Not as Easy as It Sounds” – talent development with Julie Amacher and Jim McGuinn

5 – 7:30 p.m.: PRPD EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW: A Prairie Home Companion with Chris Thile, The Dinner Party Download pre-event reception at Herberger Theater Center

Join us at Center Stage, a few steps from the hotel at Herberger Theater Center, after the last session next Tuesday.

We’ll start the evening at 5 p.m. with a special reception hosted by Rico Gagliano and Brendan Francis Newnam. The Dinner Party Download duo will share a unique cocktail for the main event – ‘a desert home companion’ – along with other light refreshments, to hold you over until dinner after the show

Then, at 6 p.m., join new host Chris Thile, and the following guests for special performances and a taste of the creative collaborations you’ll enjoy this season: Merrill Garbus of Tune-Yards, Nate Bargatze, Gaby Moreno, Paul Kowert, and APHC favorites Rich Dworsky, Fred Newman, and Tim Russell. All on one stage, followed by a meet and greet with Chris and friends.

Wednesday, September 21
12 – 1:30 p.m.: APM Lunch: “Radio’s Endurance & Evolution”

 8:15 – 9:45 a.m.: General Session: “The 2016 Tune-up: Leadership for today’s needs and tomorrow’s opportunities” featuring KPCC’s Kristen Muller.
