APM is thrilled to partner with The Poetry Foundation and the Library of Congress to present a new five-minute podcast and radio program, The Slowdown. 

Hosted by U.S. Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith, The Slowdown will offer busy audiences a moment of calm, clarity and connection each weekday. The program will feature diverse voices and artistic approaches to the spoken word.

The new radio module – free with your APM affiliation – will be offered each weekday starting January 14, with a 24-hour air window. The podcast will launch November 26.

The Slowdown offers audiences a daily slice of art and observation from one of the most celebrated writers of our time.
