BBC Proms continues through September 23

APM is thrilled to showcase the 2019 BBC Proms, the U.K.’s annual celebration of classical music. Share memorable performances from London’s Royal Albert Hall through September 23.

All stations:

SymphonyCast will broadcast concerts in their entirety, excluding the last night of Proms, which will be cut for time. All concerts will follow the standard SymphonyCast clock (1:59).

Hosted by Julie Amacher, these programs are available toall APM affiliate stations, free of charge via ContentDepot, regardless of SymphonyCast carriage. These are regular weekly feeds, and open for all Proms concerts. Promo spots will be also available via ContentDepot.

View our detailed list of weekly broadcasts through Monday, September 23.

BBC stations:

BBC World Service will broadcast seven specially selected highlight programs of Proms concerts each week through Saturday, September 14, with repeats each Sunday through September 15.

NOTE: These programs will be broadcast on the BBC World Service – so news stations will hear this classical music programming during the regular schedule.

Each hour-long episode will be hosted by a BBC Radio 3 classical music presenter, and feature conversations with special guests on the themes, composers and performers, along with the context in which the music was written and performed. These highlight programs make great complements to the full concerts from SymphonyCast.

These programs are available for broadcast to all current BBC World Service affiliate stations through APM.
