BBC WORLD SERVICE COVERAGE OF MUNICH ATTACKS

A major police operation is under way in Munich to find attackers who opened fire at a shopping center. At least six people are reported to have been killed and many others injured. The area, in the northwestern Moosach district, has been sealed off and all transport services in the city have been suspended. Police are urging people to avoid public places or stay indoors. The Bavarian state government is holding a crisis meeting.
