BBC Newshour Reports Live from Utah, Sept. 2 & 5

As the presidential election campaign heats up, BBC’s Newshour will be taking the temperature in Utah. Host Razia Iqbal will co-present the program live from Utah today (Friday, Sept. 2), and Monday (Sept. 5),  at 1500/1600 ET.

Utah has been one of the safest Republican states in presidential elections in recent decades. But many voters in the traditionally conservative Mormon state have reservations about Republican candidate Donald Trump, which has made Utah a major battleground. While it looks less likely that Trump will lose the state, Hillary Clinton has stepped up her campaign there, and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson is also fighting for support.

Newshour will be talking to voters in Utah about what they will want from the presidential candidates and what kind of change they’re expecting.
