Week-Long BBC Series Explores Air Pollution

Beginning this Saturday, March 4, BBC World Service will offer a week-long look at air pollution.

“So I Can Breathe” is a new series exploring solutions to air pollution from around the world. Air pollution is one of the biggest killers of our age, responsible for more premature deaths in the UK than obesity, alcoholism and road traffic combined, and globally more than AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria combined.

“So I Can Breathe” focuses on a wide range of solutions, from business, technology, legal and behavioral experts. The series consists of four programs, each with a unique broadcast window:

  • CrowdScience: “Could Trees Be Better At Reducing Air Pollution?”
  • World Hacks: “How China is Cleaning its Air” (extended edition)
  • Discovery: “E-Commerce”
  • Click: “How to Say No to an Upgrade” (extended edition)

“So I Can Breathe” is available, with billboards and promos, from the BBC Partners Site:
